Biography
Jasen Mark,
President and Founder
Mr. Mark founded and became President of Empirical Hotel Investments
in 2004. Prior to establishing Empirical, he served as Vice President
of Acquisitions of Milestone Hotel Investments. He currently oversees
all activities of Empirical—from deal flow to transaction analysis &
underwriting, capital formation and asset management. Additionally, he
plays a personal role in all of the firm’s “selective” advisory and
investment banking engagements.
Mr. Mark has over 17 years experience in hotel investment and management. During his career, Mr. Mark has played a key role in the acquisition of over $100 million in hotel real estate.
Partners
Convinced that creating long-term value requires detailed industry knowledge and operational expertise, Empirical formed a joint venture with the Madison Hospitality Group. Madison brings the “local”, “hands-on” expertise to the equation. Madison and Empirical seek to jointly acquire hotel real estate which adheres to our long term investment strategy.
The Principals of Madison provide over 60 years of hospitality management expertise to all of our owned and managed assets. Madison’s current managed hotel portfolio includes 7 properties consisting of 915 rooms.
